Capcom announced the release date for Biohazard 0 (Wii). The GameCube port is set for a July 10th 2008 release across Japan. You can pre-order it at Play-Asia already here.

| Biohazard 5 Famitsu interview | 11 Apr 2008

The full footage of the Biohazard 5 interview with Jun Takeuchi has been uploaded and subbed by Capcom.
It confirms Africa as the setting and that the game will tackle the "origins of the virus". Graphically the game is complete. He also hints at the possibility of playable flashbacks. A SPAS 12 is seen on the table next to the smaller shotgun we've already seen in the game as well as a Colt 1911. The Colt had the same laser sight as the Beretta and USP so it will probably be one of the basic handguns.

The Famitsu DVD footage of Biohazard 5 has been uploaded. You can find a translation of the interview here.
Very little new info is given except that enemies disintegrate on death just like Ganado and that the assault rifle is identifiable as the FN SCAR. You can also see a USP next to the Beretta on the desk when the Beretta model is being shown off. There seem to be a lot of placeholder assets as the enemy death animations and shotgun animations are exactly the same as Resident Evil 4's frame-for-frame.

I've been reading the latest rumors about a Capcom DVD within next weeks Famitsu (major japanese gaming magazine) issue.
Someone over at NeoGaf forums stated it first and now Capcom confirmed it by putting up a Capcom 25th anniversary page here. According to "The Horror Is Alive" the text reads as follows:
"Biohazard 5 Exclusive Footage + Interview"
The next weekly Famitsu issue will hit store shelves on March 28th 2008 with new Biohazard 5 footage.

Capcom's port of Biohazard Zero for Nintendo Wii apparently will be made available for a price of Yen3.990 (USD 38).
GameFront was made aware of that due to japanese videogame dealer data. Capcom themselves have not commented on this issue yet.
